This hotel occupies the former residence of the comtes d'Arlatan de Beaumont, near place du Forum and has been managed by the same family since 1920. It was built in the 15th century on the ruins of an old palace begun by Constantine -- in fact, one of the walls is from the 4th century. Rooms are furnished with Provençal antiques and reproductions, with patterned wallpaper and, in some rare instances, tapestries in the style of Louis XV and Louis XVI. The most appealing rooms overlook the garden. This was a former private residence, so accommodations range from small (on the upper floors) to more spacious on the ground floor.
