A short walk from the city's ancient Roman arena, this hotel occupies an old building that has been an inn since the 1100s. Extensively renovated and restored, it presents a severe-looking stone facade to the outside world and an interior that retains the ancient ceiling beams and rough-textured masonry walls. Cheerfulness is added in the form of many coats of white paint and traditional Provençal fabrics in bright hues of maize, red, and blue. Overall, the place is comfortable, if a bit cramped, representing good value for the money. Bathrooms are small, with barely adequate shelf space.
