Frommer's Review
This languid spot offers seafood and steak with a slight European accent. Split-cane blinds screen the tile-inlaid tables on the outdoor terrace from the midday sun, but the inside dining room is still your best bet: It's 10 degrees cooler. Moroccan rugs, rustic vases, bullfight posters, and a starburst mosaic tile floor set a Mediterranean tone, while the blue glass-brick bar adds a touch of urbanity. Rumba is a great place to regain your strength during an extended daytime shopping venture in Oranjestad. The inexpensive ($4-$8) salads and sandwiches feature such ingredients as curry, brie, pesto, and crab; full-blown seafood, steak, and chicken meals are also available. Live music in the evening argues for an extended dining experience over dishes such as grilled tuna steak, chicken cordon bleu, grilled beef tenderloin, or grilled rack of lamb with béarnaise, Provençal, tomato-basil, or "devil" sauce.
