Tango Argentine Grill

Tango features sexy Argentine dance inside, live music outside, and decent food all around. The flavor here is South American, from the churrasco beef to the Chilean wines. The large interior dining room features splayed cowhides and views of the open grill. On the stage near the entrance, live tango dancers smolder before a backdrop painted to resemble a Buenos Aires street. The pleasant outside terrace overlooks a brick plaza, where live music fills the air from 8 to 11pm. For a light start, try the tasty Caesar salad or seafood marinated in lime vinegar. The enormous barbecued beef dishes get mixed reviews, but all are better with chimichurri sauce, a savory blend of garlic, parsley, and olive oil. Shrimp in garlic and olive oil is a hit and comes with rice, fried plantains, and corn on the cob. Ice cream crowns the Tango dessert crepe, filled with dulce de leche, a heavenly caramel confection. From 5 to 7pm a $25 three-course meal special is offered.
