A recent addition to Aruba's restaurant spectrum, this expansive fine-dining venue is as hip and elegant a setting as you'll find this side of Miami. Black furnishings accented with white table runners, seat covers, and drapes are offset by blue lights that illuminate the opaque white stonework and lighting fixtures. The menu features prime cuts of beef, fresh fish, and side dishes that are ordered a la carte. Start off with a spinach salad served with hearty chunks of bacon and lightly tossed in vinaigrette. The grouper is served in a delicate sauce and on a bed of fresh spinach. The desserts are not as impressive; the carrot cake is too dense and very tame; the chocolate cake is a bit more daring and considerably more rewarding.
