This two-story bright-yellow motel is a 10-minute walk inland from Palm Beach. The studios and one-bedroom units, each with kitchenette, face either the small pool or one of two cozy courtyards. Each of the courtyards features two miniscule Jacuzzis with small rickety wooden decks. All rooms boast either a balcony or a raised rustic-wood terrace with patio furniture and blue-and-white-striped awning. Inside, faded and well-worn blue and yellow floral prints accent the white wicker and bamboo furniture. Ask for a nonsmoking room to avoid the smell, which has permeated the drapes. White tile floors run throughout the compact dining areas and functional bathrooms. The poolside bar no longer serves drinks, but the minimart can satisfy your thirst or hunger. Restaurants and other shops are within easy walking distance. The motel's quiet ambience makes it popular with budget-conscious families, locals, and couples looking to zone out by the pool. Ask for a room facing the serene and inviting pool.
