Frommer's Review
Centrally located on Palm Beach, this luxurious timeshare looks like a pair of modern Maya pyramids. The terraced stories of the nine-floor, M-shaped building recede as the tower ascends, ensuring that all of the spacious accommodations have balconies or decks with impressive views. Built in two phases (1983 and 1989), the resort is renovated continuously. The tasteful furnishings vary by unit type; modern bamboo and rattan furniture, colorful fabrics, beige tile floors, and sisal area rugs are prominent. Studios come with kitchenettes, and one-bedrooms have enhanced kitchens and living/dining areas. The one-bedroom Lanai Suites feature patios that open onto the pool area. Slightly larger than other one-bedroom units, they have spacious wooden decks and minigardens rather than balconies. The two-bedroom oceanfront units boast large master suites with king-size beds and two-sink bathrooms, guest rooms with two twin beds, kitchens, living and dining rooms, another full bathroom, and wraparound terraces with unbeatable vistas. Some have walk-in closets and bars; others feature separate master-suite balconies. Rooms facing away from the pool are generally quieter. During the peak season, most guests are luxury-conscious and older. As the year progresses, families and honeymooners begin to predominate.
