Frommer's Review
This four-story complex is much like an American-style chain motel, but its cleanliness and proximity to the action make it the island's best budget option. Across the street from the Allegro, it has no beachfront, but the sea is no more than a 5-minute walk away, and the pool is inviting. Although the rooms have cookie-cutter uniformity, and a slightly musty aroma, the walls, carpet, and furnishings are cheerfully colored. All rooms have either two double beds or one king. The bathrooms are bright and functional if not luxuriously spacious. Many guests are here for the nearby casinos, but the hotel also has dive and honeymoon packages. The wide selection of casual dining venues nearby is a plus, though the Hooters and Benihana, only steps away from the lobby, have removed some of the hotel's former quiet charm.
