Frommer's Review

On a glorious 600-foot stretch of Eagle Beach, this timeshare offers some of Aruba's most impressive accommodations. Its five-story Dutch-Caribbean buildings feature sunny ochre walls with white trim and terra cotta tile roofs. Inside, tropical colors, split-cane furniture, and light tile floors brighten the enormous two- and three-bedroom suites. All units have expansive living/dining rooms, fully equipped kitchens, at least two TVs, a master suite with raised Roman tub and separate shower, guest bedroom with twin beds and full bathroom, and large private balcony with ocean view. The two-bedroom suites have 108 sq. m (1,163 sq. ft.) of space and can accommodate six people. The three-bedroom suites will make your jaw drop. In addition to every two-bedroom suite appointment, they boast an adjoining studio with its own kitchenette, TV, and bathroom; original oil paintings; slatted-wood ceilings; glass-brick room dividers; and an enormous balcony. Big enough to entertain 20 to 30 cocktail guests, these ocean-facing terraces feature two distinct sections reached from the living room or master suite. There's patio furniture for eight, a raised Jacuzzi for four, and a party-size barbecue grill. With 279 sq. m (3,003 sq. ft.) of space, the three bedrooms accommodate eight people with ease. Built in 1991, the resort undergoes constant refurbishment and promotes environmental consciousness: Recycling bins and posted exhortations to conserve are everywhere. Obviously, guests are luxury-conscious. If you're looking for a chink in the Costa Linda's armor, maid service on Sundays is skeletal.

Facilities: 2 restaurants; 2 bars; large outdoor pool; kiddie pool; 18-hole championship golf course nearby; 2 tennis courts lit for night play; good-size exercise room; watersports equipment/rentals nearby; children's program; teen program; game room; concierge; tour/activities desk; car-rental desk; shopping arcade; babysitting; coin-op laundry; same-day dry cleaning; beach wheelchair available; barbecue facilities.
