Divi Aruba All Inclusive Review

This resort on Druif Beach is one of Aruba's top hotels for honeymoon bookings. Stays include unlimited food and beverages at 10 dining outlets and seven bars, unlimited watersports, bicycles, tennis, nightly entertainment, activities, taxes, and service charges, plus access to all the facilities and amenities of the adjacent Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive. All rooms boast balconies or patios. Garden rooms are less expensive and farther from the beach than oceanview and oceanfront units, but they're quieter. Rooms in the double-story Lanai building open directly onto the wide beach, and casitas/beachside rooms face small patios just steps from the beach. Free golf-cart transport connects guests with the adjacent Tamarijn. How to choose between them? The Divi Aruba is closer to other Low-Rise amenities, such as the Alhambra Casino, while the Tamarijn is closer to the adjacent Divi Links golf course, and all its rooms are oceanfront.

Facilities: 10 restaurants; 7 bars; babysitting; bikes; children's program; concierge; adjacent 9-hole golf course; 18-hole championship golf course nearby; fitness center; Internet lounge (rates start at $2.50 for 10 min.); 3 outdoor pools; spa; sports center w/outdoor climbing wall on the beach; 2 tennis courts lit for night play; watersports equipment; wedding services; rooms for those w/limited mobility

About Our System

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.

Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.

The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
