Paradise Beach Villas Review

Across the street from one of Eagle Beach's nicest sections, this quiet, welcoming timeshare features Spanish mission-style two- and three-story buildings. Because many owners come back yearly, there's an air of family reunion. American couples in their 30s, 40s, and 50s, are often joined by children and grandkids during the high season. Independent rental guests enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. White-tile floors, tropical colors, and wicker furniture brighten every unit. Balconies are large, and bathrooms have a Jacuzzi. Studios have a kitchenette, while suites have a full kitchen. In the two- and three-bedroom suites, guest rooms feature two single beds and adjacent bathrooms. The master bedrooms have a queen- or king-size bed and a bathroom. In town houses, a spiral staircase ascends to the master suite. The more expensive Phase II units are closer to the beach, are roomier overall, and have a larger pool nearby.

Facilities:
2 restaurants; bar; babysitting; exercise room; Jacuzzis; 2 large outdoor pools/lagoons; rooms for those w/limited mobility

About Our System

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.

Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.

The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
