Locals love this place, and we do, too. Open year-round, the spare, sleek eatery is lively and social, delivering great Italian specialties and assured service from an international staff. Chef Mateo Mangiarotti is a native of Italy, and he shows his skills with such knockout dishes as tarozzi con pesto (homemade pasta stuffed with ricotta cheese and sautéed with haricot verts [green string beans] and a pesto sauce) and gnocchi masseria (potato dumplings with sausage, mushrooms, and tomatoes in red wine sauce). There are also gourmet pizzas and a nice list of mostly Italian wines
