Limelite Lodge ReviewI was distraught when I heard the old Limelight was falling to the bulldozer in 2006, but a new one went up in the same quiet spot near downtown Aspen. Reopened in 2008, the property traded its mom-and-pop looks for a slick classic-meets-contemporary facade, sheathing larger rooms spread over four stories. Dale Paas, whose family has owned the motel since 1958, has committed to sustainable design, and the new Limelight is a model of green architecture and design.
