Frommer's Review
You'll find a friendly ski-lodge atmosphere at this family-owned lodging, open since 1954 just 1 1/2 blocks from the lifts. There's a TV in the lobby (where complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres are served on Monday nights in winter) and a piano and game room on the lower level. Rooms are bright and well maintained, with wood furnishings and good-quality twin, double, queen, or king beds, plus a few trundle beds. There are even some bunk rooms with four beds, rented by the bed at greatly reduced rates in ski season. Most rooms have refrigerators; some have central air-conditioning. Ski lockers are available and there are guest computers in the lobby.
Facilities:
Outdoor heated pool; exercise room; large indoor whirlpool; sauna and steam room; game room; massage; coin-op laundry

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
