Frommer's Review
Originally built as a private home in 1902, the Rosebriar became a convent in the 1950s, then was renovated and turned into a small 1920s-style hotel in the 1990s. Ornate wainscoting, scrollwork ceilings, and lots of wood trim show the quality of workmanship that went into this home. The grand old Georgian mansion sits high above the river and the street, with commanding views from the two front rooms. The carriage-house cottage has its own fireplace, whirlpool tub, and private patio.
