There are lots of mass-produced "crafts" for sale in Athens, which is why it's good to know about some shops that have quality work. Center of Hellenic Tradition is a wonderful place for quality traditional Greek art, including icons, pottery, wood carvings, embroideries, and prints. Best of all, you can take a break from shopping and look at the Acropolis while you have coffee and a snack at the cafe here.
