Frommer's Review
The original "Three Moors," dating from 1723, was one of the most renowned hotels in Germany before its destruction in a 1944 air raid. In 1956, it was reconstructed in a modern style in four- and five-story buildings. It remains the premier hotel in town despite competition from the Romantik Hotel Augsburger Hof . The drawing room contains a slatted natural-wood ceiling and walls, along with a room-wide mural of Old Augsburg. Guest rooms are comfortable and inviting, with thick carpets, double-glazed windows, and large bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. Doubles vary in size and appointments, ranging from smaller, somewhat cramped quarters to more spacious accommodations.
