It can be hard to find a double for under $100 during the week, but some hotels offer weekend rates and packages that represent savings of 35% to 50% off normal Sunday through Thursday tariffs. So don't be scared off by midweek rates -- come on a weekend instead.

Near the Airport
An alternative to staying downtown and worrying about parking -- especially if you plan to see only the Inner Harbor attractions -- is a hotel near Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport that offers free shuttle service to the North Linthicum Light Rail station. About 15 airport hotels have such shuttles. From North Linthicum, it's a 15-minute ride to the Camden Yards station, which is just 6 blocks from the Inner Harbor.
