This museum of recent maritime history is comprised of three boats and a lighthouse. The Coast Guard Cutter Taney survived the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The submarine USS Torsk sank the last two Japanese merchant ships of World War II and still holds the record for the most dives and resurfacings of any sub. The lightship Chesapeake spent 40 years anchored near the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. The Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse, which once welcomed immigrants to Baltimore, is worth a climb up the steps to see the Fresnel light. Each provides an interesting glimpse into the lives of 20th-century sailors. Tip: Buy the valuable Seaport Pass, which includes admission to the Baltimore Maritime Museum and the USS Constellation, plus a ticket to ride all day on Ed Kane's Water Taxi ($25 for adults, $22 for seniors, $17 for ages 15-17, $14 for kids 6-14).
