This stylishly designed museum on the second floor of the Camden train station (beside Camden Yards stadium) celebrates the comic book. Its founder, Steve Geppi, made his fortune finding, collecting, and selling this amusing slice of Americana, and some of his favorite pieces are located here along with toys and collectibles associated with Amazing Stories, Superman, or Yellow Kid. Displays offer a historical look at how comics have developed since the 1800s. Other pop culture artifacts, from animation cels and movie posters to TV memorabilia, flesh out the collection. High-tech kiosks allow visitors to thumb through digital comic books. Toys and collectibles -- banks, decoder rings, and lunchboxes -- are among the most interesting artifacts. Combo tickets with the Sports Legends Museum on the first floor of Camden Station are available. There's lots of cool stuff in the gift shop.
