Frommer's Review
Walk down the stairs into whitewashed rooms that resemble a wine cellar. Spanish artwork, wrought iron, and pottery decorate the tiny dining rooms that seem to go on and on. Start with the fruity sangria. The menu's highlights include shrimp in garlic sauce, sole with bananas and hollandaise sauce, and dramatic paella. Dessert is a standout: Try the flan, the chocolate soufflé, or the roll cakes. Tío Pepe is a special-occasion restaurant for Baltimoreans, so reservations are a must.
