Chef Nancy Longo has won accolades for her creative American cuisine with its Maryland and Italian roots. Smoked crab cakes are a specialty, but you'll also be delighted with the stylish preparations of tenderloin, duck breast, or oysters. Save room for dessert: Everything from the divine crème brûlée trio (ginger, orange, and chocolate) to the sorbet is wonderful. Lunchtime brings special entrees as well as pasta, salads, and soups. The restaurant is a quirky little place with a big bar up front.
