Just a block from the Inner Harbor and tucked into the financial district is a branch of this family- and business-traveler-friendly chain. The studio kings, comfortable and reasonably priced, fill up quickly. But families may prefer the other, larger units: One-bedrooms have kitchenettes and pull-out sofas, while two-bedroom suites are reserved for extended-stay guests. A hot breakfast is served every morning, and dinner or filling snacks are offered Monday through Thursday evenings, all complimentary. Managers stop by to see if their guests need anything -- a Residence Inn tradition.
