You'll have to look hard to find better dining or a more refined atmosphere in town. Following over 160 years of tradition, the cuisine's dignity shines through its simplicity. Menu items depend on available ingredients. Freshwater fish (kept in an aquarium) and game are two of the specialties. You may find some of the offerings, such as roast eel from the Main River, a bit too authentic, but the Franconian duck is a terrific choice.
