Hotel Arts Barcelona

Hotel Arts Barcelona ♥♥—A landmark from the 1992 Olympics waterfront makeover, the Ritz-Carlton–operated Hotel Arts occupies a 44-story skyscraper with spectacular sea and city views. Located at Port Olímpic next to Frank Gehry’s iconic sculpture Peix (Fish), it has benefited from further upgrades made for the 2024 Americas Cup. On the waterfront, space is less constrained than in the old city—even the smallest rooms here measure 484 square feet. The split-level penthouses are positively huge and include butler service. Among the high-end amenities are a 43rd-floor spa overlooking the water, a sea-facing terrace with large outdoor pools, and the acclaimed Enoteca restaurant by Paco Pérez. On the downside, with so many rooms and guests service can become stretched. Note the hotel is about 2.5km (1.5 miles) southeast of the old city.
