A friend of the frugal traveler, this minimalist hotel is the second easyHotel to open in the world, the first having made its debut in London. You have to sacrifice space for an affordable price and value, but the very small bedrooms are a safe, clean haven for the night. Don't expect luxuries. The main appeal of the place is for people who want to spend most of their day sightseeing, using the hotel mainly for a good night's sleep and little more. All units have one double bed and a private bathroom with shower. Twenty-one of the units have a window; those without a window offer air-conditioning. There are vending machines in the lobby for emergencies, although a full-service restaurant is next door. If you want maid service during your stay, you'll have to pay extra. To activate your TV, you must purchase a remote control from the reception desk.
