This is the best bargain in town. It's well run, with quiet rooms, and 5 minutes on foot from the center of town. The inn was built as a postal relay station around 1900 and became a hotel in 1950. In 2004, management enlarged the hotel with the addition of a seven-unit annex in the garden, containing only duplex suites, each rustically outfitted in a style that evokes the traditions of rural Burgundy. The accommodations in the rear are the most tranquil, though most visitors prefer those overlooking the garden. Rooms are small, but adequate for an overnight; each has a shower-only bathroom. Continental breakfast is available.
