The Westin Copley Place Boston Review

Towering 36 stories above Copley Square, the Westin attracts business travelers, convention-goers, sightseers, and shoppers with its great location and solicitous staff. Skybridges connect to Copley Place and the Prudential Center complex. The spacious guest rooms -- all on the eighth floor and higher -- have traditional oak and mahogany furniture and Westin's beloved pillow-top mattresses. They were renovated in 2010. Junior suites are oversized doubles with generous sitting areas, and one-bedroom suites have one of the most entertaining features around: a queen-size Murphy bed in the living room. You might not notice any of that at first, because the views are spectacular. Like the other hotels in the Pru complex, this is a reliable chain property; it generally has better packages than the Marriott and Sheraton, but price all three before booking.

Facilities:
3 restaurants; bar; concierge; health club & spa; indoor pool; room service

About Our System

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.

Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.

The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
