Towering 36 stories above Copley Square, the Westin attracts business travelers, convention-goers, sightseers, and dedicated shoppers with its great location and solicitous staff. Sky bridges link the hotel to Copley Place and the Prudential Center complex, and Copley Square is across the street from the pedestrian entrance. The spacious guest rooms -- all on the eighth floor or higher -- have traditional oak and mahogany furniture, Westin's beloved pillow-top mattresses, and decent-size bathrooms. Junior suites are oversized doubles with generous sitting areas, but one-bedroom suites have one of the most entertaining features around: a queen-size Murphy bed in the living room. You might not notice any of that at first -- the views of downtown Boston, the airport and harbor, and the Charles River and Cambridge are spectacular.
