Frommer's Review
The red-brick Inn at Harvard looks like just another college building -- it's adjacent to Harvard Yard, and its Georgian-style architecture would fit nicely on campus. Inside, however, there's no mistaking it for anything other than an elegant hotel, popular with business travelers and university visitors. Guest rooms were extensively renovated in 2006 and have pillow-top beds; each holds a work area with an Aeron chair, and a flatscreen TV. Some units have dormer windows and window seats. The four-story skylit atrium holds the "living room," a huge, well-appointed guest lounge that's suitable (in furnishings and volume level) for meeting with a visitor if you don't want to conduct business in your room.
Facilities:
Restaurant (New England); dining privileges at the nearby Harvard Faculty Club; fitness center; room service until 10:30pm; laundry service; same-day dry cleaning; rooms for those w/limited mobility

| 2 stars | Frommer's Very Highly Recommended | |
| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
