Hilton Boston Logan Airport ReviewSmack in the middle of the airport, the Hilton draws most of its guests from meetings, conventions, and canceled flights. It's convenient and well equipped for business travelers, and an excellent fallback for vacationers who don't mind commuting to downtown. Guest rooms are large and tastefully furnished in colors that make me think of business suits, with excellent soundproofing. The best units in the 10-story building afford sensational airport and harbor views. A shuttle bus serves all airport locations, including the ferry dock, and walkways link the building to Terminals A (nearby) and E (farther). The Hyatt Harborside is the closest competition -- it's at the edge of the airport, which means less commotion outside and better water views but less convenient access to the T. | 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
