This ultramodern brick hotel is set alongside a lovely canal, a short walk west from the center of Bruges -- it takes its name from a reference to Bruges in the Florentine poet Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. The hotel is an artful combination of old Bruges style and modern amenities and fittings. Its spacious guest rooms are restfully decorated in warm colors like peach and furnished with bamboo and rattan beds. Most have a view of the canal at Coupure. The Dante's vegetarian restaurant Toermalijn is highly regarded locally.
