Calling this establishment a youth hostel is a bit of a misnomer, since it closely resembles a hotel. This place is not just for backpackers as just about anyone would be comfortable spending the night here. The central location is ideal for hopping on a bus or catching the metro. The rooms have clean and attractive linens, and each bed has its own large wardrobe with a lock. The dorm rooms are separated with walls with a bunk bed in each section and a curtain separating it from the narrow common area of the dorm. You can have privacy or sit out and meet others here or in the well-appointed common room. This is a very good deal with no curfew and a 24-hour reception. For party animals, the bar in the basement is open 24 hours, but music stops at 10pm. Open year-round, the hostel is operated by Mellow Mood. There are safes available at the front desk.
