We don't usually associate modern elegance with a homey atmosphere, but this Spanish-owned chain has accomplished this. Built from the ground up in 2003 directly behind the Vigszinház Theater, this hotel has taken a modern, minimalist approach oozing a warm welcome. The use of a variety of textiles in the room decor spanning shades of browns and tans with rich dark wood adds a cozy warmth to a spacious room. Add to this, the mottled brown and tan marble used in the bathroom, the feeling of quiet elegance is carried throughout. Sleep-inducing beds bring it all together for a perfect night's sleep. Although the exercise room on the eighth floor is limited, it is beautifully executed with the most modern exercise equipment, separate changing rooms for women and men, a solarium (for a fee), and a relaxation room with beautiful lounge chairs. It's eco-friendly to boot.
