Sharing a building with Budai Vigadó, the Heritage House was set up in 2001 to cultivate and keep alive the folk traditions of Hungary and countries around the region. Home to the largest folklore documentation center in central Europe, as well as a Folk Art Workshop and a new "Hungarian Dance House" club, visitors can learn traditional dances, most of which are rhythmical twirling, jumping, and thumping, with loud screams now and then to keep spirits high.
