Set on high bluffs overlooking Lake Erie, this campground is all about the view. Open daily from May to October, the park has a shoreline of over 3/4 mile bordering the shallowest of the Great Lakes. Full of great hiking (and in the winter cross-country skiing) trails, the park is also a prime place to bird-watch: It's a natural stopping place for birds before they fly across the lake. Cabins are primitive, with bunk beds and no hot water, and you must bring your own bedding. If you can get one, grab one of the "prime" sites that line the lake.
