Hilton Burlington Review

This nine-story Hilton hotel -- formerly flagged as a Radisson and then as a Wyndham property -- has great views if you spend extra for a lakeside room. It's a sleek glass box built in 1976 (and it looks like it), and renovations have kept the aging process mostly at bay. It's also the most centrally located of any hotel in city, tucked right between the waterfront and Church Street Marketplace, each about a 5-minute walk away. Five cabana rooms open right up to the pool area and are especially good for families.

Facilities:
Restaurant; indoor pool; fitness room; Jacuzzi; concierge; business center; conference rooms; room service; babysitting; laundry service; dry cleaning

About Our System

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.

Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.

The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
