The largest conference facility in Vermont, the Sheraton also does a decent job catering to individual travelers and families. This sprawling and modern complex (it has 15 conference rooms!) just off the interstate is a 5-minute drive east of downtown, on the way to the airport; it features a sizable indoor garden area. All guest rooms have two phones and a Nintendo system; rooms in the newer wing are a bit nicer, furnished in a simpler, lighter country style. Ask for a room facing east if you want to enjoy views of Mount Mansfield and the Green Mountains.
