Belle Epoque, Antonio López 2 (tel. 95-622-68-10), is the best place to go in town to purchase such Andalusian artisans' crafts as ceramics and locally made wicker, even antiques. The shop is convenient to the Museo de Cádiz and the tourist office. Hours are Monday to Friday 10:30am to 1:30pm and Monday to Saturday 5:30 to 9pm.

On a tucked-away corner of Plaza Candelaría, Hecho in Cádiz, Plaza Candelaría 7 (tel. 95-628-31-97), has specialized in regional food products since the 1750s. You'll find caches of honey, wines (especially sherries, some fine vintages selling for only around 7€/$11 per bottle), cheeses, olive oils, and processed meats, especially sausages (chorizos). Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 2pm and Monday to Friday from 6 to 9:30pm.
