Getting There -- From Paris's Gare St-Lazare, 12 trains per day arrive in Caen (trip time: 1 hr., 50 min.-2 1/2 hr.). One-way fares start at 32€ to 45€ ($46-$65). One-way fares from Rouen (trip time: 1 hr., 45 min.) start at 23€ ($33). To drive from Paris, travel west along A13 to Caen (driving time: 2 1/2 hr. to 3 hr.).
