This is a well-established brasserie, one of the best known in town, with a high-volume turnover and a penchant for seafood. Within a decor inspired by the Art Deco movement of the 1920s, you'll find yourself in a bustling, sometimes animated venue where tried-and-true menu items include platters of shellfish, especially oysters; snails in garlic-flavored butter sauce; filets of cod with stewed hearts of artichokes; strips of duck breast with parsley sauce; braised oxtail with truffles and mashed potatoes; filet of haddock with lemon-flavored butter sauce; and roasted shoulder of lamb en confit, served with Middle Eastern spices and mashed potatoes. Desserts usually include a homemade version of tiramisu and a gratin of seasonal berries.
