Frommer's Review
This large hotel, set on the outskirts of Camagüey, isn't particularly convenient, or attractive -- its 1960s block exterior is rather undistinguished. But, as the largest hotel in town, it has all the services one could require, and is a friendly, well-run option. Rooms are average-size and somewhat plainly decorated, but perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Other hotels located in the old center have more character and represent better values, but for large groups that need facilities and services, the Hotel Camagüey may be the best option in the city. It's also got a nice, midsize pool, which nonguests can use for a CUC$3 fee.
