Located just a short walk from the U.S. Consulate, this three-star hotel was renovated in 2004. Management and staff pride themselves on continued maintenance of the building and guest rooms; clean hallway carpets and unstained sinks -- rarities in all but the priciest hotels -- attest to their sincerity. Guest rooms and bathrooms are medium in size. Furnishings are run-of-the-mill but better maintained than most in this range. The hotel is connected to one of the best non-Chinese restaurants in Chengdu, Tandoor Indian Cuisine.
