Stone Villa Hotel ReviewOn the outskirts of town, just off the A56, this award-winning B&B lies in a tranquil cul-de-sac. In the post-millennium, it has twice won the coveted "Best B&B Award" in Cheshire. In fair weather, the entrance to this old stone-built villa is covered with plants, opening onto a walled floodlit car park in front. Bedrooms range from standard to executive (the most expensive rooms are larger and contain flatscreen TVs). Their homemade breakfasts are among the best of any B&B in the area, containing everything from porridge drizzled with Drambuie and local honey to vegetarian sausages.
