The Barucci family takes care of hospitality in Volpaia's main square: Carla runs this cozy tavern with outdoor seating in a garden, and her sister owns the bar across the piazza. The cuisine is simple and honest, with Tuscan classics such as ribollita and pici con ragù and rabbit with white wine and olives, plus just about anything with wild boar in it. They make their own cold cuts and offer a nice wine list of local labels, all at fair prices.
