Cavalieri ReviewIf you like your hotels in the discreet old European style, this place is for you. For glitz, look elsewhere -- the main lounge is done in "Italian velvet." The Cavalieri is in an old building with a small elevator. Service is low key, rooms are spare, and bathrooms standard. Ask for one of the front rooms on the upper floors, which boast great views of the Old Fort. Another draw is the rooftop garden, which after 6:30pm offers drinks, sweets, and light meals along with a spectacular view; even if you don't stay here, it's a grand place to pass an hour in the evening.
