Frommer's Review
Of the several good casalinga (home cooking) trattorie along this street, this one merits singling out if only for its heavenly tiramisù, made the old-fashioned way. Before dessert, though, you may want to dip your spoon into the thick ribollita -- Cortonans ask for hot pepper to sprinkle over it, but you can just drizzle on olive oil if that's more your style. When it comes to secondi, Dardano specializes in roasts: Try pollo (chicken), anatra (duck) or faraona (guinea hen) -- or go for a modest splurge with a bistecca alla fiorentina (this being the valley whence comes Tuscany's best beef).
