This fabulously rustic, 200-year-old stone cottage at the edge of the King's River near the village of Kells cries out to be photographed. Owner Mark Fisher bought the place years back to be near good fishing waters, and has gradually converted it into a relaxing, modern country lodge, with walls warmly paneled in polished wood, brass bedsteads, and endless green views. He's added on a deck now, so that you can relax outside with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the fields. Mark knows the best places to hear traditional music, have a pint, or dine, and he's happy to share them. There are no TVs or outside distractions. For those looking to get away from it all, this just might be the place.
