The 18th-century coach house and stables of Kilkenny Castle have been wonderfully converted into shops and workshops for craftspeople. The center and the smaller shops collected nearby provide a showcase for handcrafted products -- jewelry, glassware, pottery, clothing, linens, and furniture. There's also an excellent coffee shop and restaurant upstairs. Open year-round Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and summer Sundays from 11am to 5pm.
