The chef-owner of this excellent restaurant is from the Italy-fronting cantons of Switzerland, but the menu here spans the sunny foods of the entire Mediterranean basin. Certainly Italian foods are make their appearance -- with marvelous pasta dishes such as fig and prosciutto-stuffed ravioli -- but the flavors of southern France, Greece, North Africa, and beyond are also featured. Moroccan chicken tagine and pan-seared salmon with chipotle and maple syrup are just two facets of imaginative menu. The dining room is simple, even spartan, but you're here to savor the food, after all.
