It's worth getting off the grim Hwy. 95 strip to visit the pleasant downtown area around Baker Street. As you stroll the broad, tree-lined streets, you'll see a number of heritage brick storefronts and commercial buildings. Especially impressive is the grand, turreted 1909 Imperial Bank building at Baker and Eighth streets.
